High-protein snacks/meals that aren't meat?

Yes, I know, blasphemy. However, I get bored pretty easily (especially when I feel like I'm eating a ton of something), and sometimes just don't have meat out to cook. Plus, I find that I generally have a hard time meeting my protein requirements (especially when I'm hitting the weights hard), so it'd be nice to keep quick snacks around that could help me get there. I know nuts are a good source, but eating them plain gets old pretty quick for me, too.
So, what high protein snack/meal ideas that don't require meat do you have? (Or, have you found any usual sources of protein that turn out to work very well?)

Hard boiled eggs. Perfection.0

I like precooked frozen shrimp. Pour a bag into a bowl and microwave for a few minutes and you have 84g of protein with no carbohydrate and only 6g of fat.0

Yogurt. Greek style has more protein. Go for whole fat. Raw if you can get it! Cheese has some protein too.
Branch out in the meat department. Pate and bone broth are unusual but good sources. Instead of canned tuna, try canned or smoked salmon or kippered herring or sardines.0 -
All good ideas so far. I just try to have meat cooked ahead most of the time, or hard-boiled eggs. I always cook extra at a time. Then you can do different stuff with it, too.
Beef jerky - make your own to avoid the processed fillers/sugars/preservatives.0 -
I love cheese sticks. 1 carb, and 8 protein, and so very convenient. my lazy meals are frequently eggs and bacon or sausage.0

My whole foods has smoked smelt. Little fishies you pop in your mouth. You only real want one or two, though. Salty, but also good calcium I think.
Little egg bites. Like muffins, but made with a mini-muffin pan so they're bite-sized. Here's a great page with lots of ideas - it's one of my fave blogs... she uses LOTS of artificial sweeteners in her recipes, but I get a lot of good paleo/primal ideas from her because she doesn't cook with bread/rice/pasta and makes things that are small portion sizes. My favorite are the crab bites. http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2008/02/got-crabs.html

I should also note that I can't stand fish/seafood.I love cheese sticks. 1 carb, and 8 protein, and so very convenient. my lazy meals are frequently eggs and bacon or sausage.
Cheese sticks are my go-to right now. Bacon and eggs are my breakfast.0
