Are you losing or maintaining?

I'm just curious who is losing weight and who is maintaining. If you're losing, how much do you tend to lose a week? If you're maintaining, how long have you maintained for? Did your eating change very much when you reached your goal weight?

I'm losing (well trying my hardest, lol)

I have about 70-80lbs left to lose (boooooooooooooo!!!) Some weeks my weight stays the same, some weeks I'll drop 5lbs but they key is there is a general downward trend. On average it is about 1 or 2 lbs per week.

I have been losing about .5 pounds a week lately, but I have about 10-15 pounds left to go. It seems that it has slowed considerably. But I have had a stressful couple of weeks and not really been in town and I think that has taken a toll on my 2 pound gain this morning. But no going out of town for a while! So hopefully it was just some retention..:p

I still could do with losing a couple of lb going on 'gut feel', literally ;)

But the weight isn't really important to me, it's a feeling.

Once I get there I'll weigh myself for reference and then aim to pretty much eat as I do now.

trying to lose... it's been a steady 1 lb loss a week--i'm also taking into consideration an increase of like 2-3 pounds over the weekend if i'm not careful :3

when i first started out, i was doing 30 grams a day and i lost a good 5 lbs in one week. then i went hardcore to 10 grams and that's when it slowed. i think it had a lot to do with going into ketosis after losing all my water weight. anyway after just munching on meat and cheese all the time for 2 weeks, i upped my carbs (and ultimately my calories) last week and this week and still losing at the same rate. it's great :) however i wasn't really that overweight to begin with so my weight loss journey will definitely be harder and slower than someone else who was/is.

i need to start exercising though. i feel like if i just do something like walk a few miles a day it will bump it up a bit. i'm lazy. don't much like exercising. but i'm still happy with how my weight loss is going.

Losing when I keep to the diet. A lot of hard BS things lately keep interfering. Lots of birthdays and family in hospital etc etc. On average 3lb a week loss.

I want/need to lose the weight, but honestly just the feeling of not being obsessed with food/craving sugar and flour does so much for me!

I’m have been eating Primal since mid June and in two months, lost 8 lbs, eating 1800 calories - fat 45%, protein 35%, and carbs 20%. I switched to fat 55%, protein 35% and carbs 10% (45g), on Aug 8 and have lost another 11 pounds since then.

Amen to that, it's a liberation.

I have a processed carb-fest Birthday do to go to today, I will happily pass up most of what is on offer.

(edit) AND I am exercising less ... I don't feel guilty about not putting in an hour walk because, in the scheme of things, it just doesn't matter. Exercise is good and all but overrated for weight management IMO.

attemping to drop the last 50 pounds... however the scale is just staying the same for the last two months!

I have however stayed the same weight but lost 8 inches all around. I cant complain to much about this but really like to know wtf is going on :( lol!

Changing body composition probably, more lean muscle mass.

My weight is all over the place to be honest hence the reason that I am just not that bothered about it, the belt rules :)

    I hear yeah!

I bought some pants in July that were a little snug but I could wear them still. Last week the same pants are being held up by a belt thats on notch #4 already and new (LOL!) BUT I still weight the same exact amount when I bought the pants/belt. It really boggles my mind how I can lose inches but not weight. I gave up months ago on using the scale as a way to determain my progress :)!
