So the saying goes. So......
How about a new habit every 21 days?
So for example for the next 21 days everyone needs to drink 1.5 litres of water a day. (50ish ozs?)
What do you think? This way we make new habits which are good for us!!

How is everyone doing with their water intake?!?!
I've not quite reached my 1 and half litres yet. Need to get a move on!0 -
Think I must be there as I drink quite a lot of herbal teas like nettle, dandelion, liquorice and ginger.0

Think I am sort of there, but I include all fluids in my total, like tea / coffee, neither of which I have sugar in so fairly low cal0

I'm doing great on water I'm getting about 3.4-4L of water a day0

Got my water. I usually do. Love the idea of 21 days! Keep 'em coming!0

Can I count the water I've absorbed through my skin while camping...?:grumble:0

Nice idea, especially as I can tick this one off already! I drink about 2 litres of water a day. I don't drink much else, just a glass of OJ at breakfast and a cup of fruit or herb tea mid morning at work. I have the odd diet coke :noway: but try to avoid it, and the odd coffee - fewer than one a week.0

what would you say the 8 cups that you put in MFP is? is that supposed to be the equivalent of 2 litres? if so i definitely get my 1.5litres everyday!0
-
I think 1 cup = 8oz, so yes 8 cups is roughly 2 litres.0
-
I aim for 3 litres a day already0

*backs out slowly leaving full water bottle on the table*0

They say 1 litre for every 10 degrees celsius of temperature is recommended, so in the summer and on hot days we should really be looking at up to 3 litres? And if exercising lots maybe even more?0
