W1D1 Done!

I was so excited to start the c25k! Today was the first day. Normally I do not walk or jog in the elements..(big baby I know) but today it was raining slightly. I told myself to suck it up and not let a little rain get in the way. And soon it will be snowing and if your making a life style change you have to face the elements. (unless I get a gym membership but that isnt happeneing anytime soon) Needless to say I kicked Day one's *kitten*! Excited for day 3!

Great! I agree with the working out in the elements. Snow is not an issue usually where I'm from, but the heat and humidty are killers. I forked up the money and joined a gym though. Glad I did too. I'll do Week 2, day 2 today :)
  • Well done

I started today as well and got through it. I found it really hard (I am 229 lbs and 5 3 so really overweight) and had to pause a run a couple of times to pick up after the dog!! - but still feel proud that I got through it

I can't really say I am running - my runs are the slowest shuffle/jog in the world but still......

Speed isnt important right now. Your doing your best and soon you will be running marathons! Keep up the good work as well

I wil probably join a gym once it gets too cold. I dont breathe well in cold weather.

awesome..sorry I'm late posting.. yesterday i did week1day1 it felt great to run..towards the end my calves and the back of my ankle started to hurt but i pushed through it..i was really out of breathe like i was in the past.and my speed had increase some..i think it might have to do with me running in TX. now instead of RI. RI. was up and down hills here in TX it's all flat.. a lot easier to run.lol

    Hello to all!
I started C25K today. W1D1, it was done with some breathlessness.
Did a light Pilates class afterwards for stretching. we'll see how I feel tomorrow...
