As per title, I have just seen a Father Christmas grotto being prepared in Asda, and it is still August :mad:

Seems soon we will be getting a visual reminder of the approach of our target date

    I took a picture of a Christmas tree in a hotel window about 4 weeks ago. Admittedly it was advertising their Christmas function room but all the same... :grumble: :grumble: :grumble:

    Christmas is banned in our house till 5th Dec as our son's B'day is 4th! I hate Christmas before Halloween in the shops!

    Unfortunately if I want to go out for my birthday I have to start letting folks early, else I end up sat at home doing nothing! My Birthday's in the run-up to Christmas too

    I'll be practising Christmas carols from next week, ready for our Concert in December - we're all fed up with Chrimbo by the time it gets here - ho ho hum!

    I'm a poet and I know it!

    Once in my laden cupboard,
    sat a lonely caaaaaabage
    There is lay, going mouldy
    until I changed my ways.

    Then it joined the leek and tater,
    with it too the healthy stew
    yoghurt, carrots, and coming later,
    all the calories on mfp data!

    Then I joined Crimbo weight loss,
    and like a stone gathering no moss,
    I started losing pound by pound
    and new friends I did found

    So now it ends this little ditty,
    please do not take pity,
    on my rubbish rhyming singing
    You and I are all winning!
