Starting on Saturday

I'm starting Induction on Saturday. That gives me time to go shopping, clear out my fridge, and maybe sneak in a few of the foods I know I won't be getting anymore.
Also, some of my friends are doing a Biggest Loser Challenge that starts on Saturday, so I know that will keep me motivated to stay on track with the guidelines.
Does anyone have some helpful hints? Maybe some zero-carb foods that I can stockpile for when I'm feeling hungry?
Thanks!!

stock up on green peppers, broccoli, tomato, avocado, chicken, cans of tuna, beef, cheese (any kind especially cream cheese) BACON as long as it's not honey glazed/smoked etc., whipping cream and EGGS.
Good luck!0 -
If you are anything like me you love to snack so I try to keep some low carb snacks around. I love sugar free jello (zero carb) with whipped cream on top; its a life saver. I also like the atkins bars, however i have a tendency to go over board and eat to many of them so i refuse to buy any more. Always carry around a snack; celery sticks, deli meat, bacon, eggs, and cheese are always good options even though people may look at you weird when u pull out a baggy of bacon.
Another snack idea (not sure if its induction friendly) are fudgesicles. I am a chocolate fiend so this totally satisfies that craving and it is low carb. Again I warn you against eating to much because they are addictive.0 -
I like to keep deviled eggs in the fridge along with jalapeno chicken salad. If I get hungry, I just grab an egg or spoon full of chicken salad. Also pork rinds are a good snack if you like them.0

That many veggies are not recommended during induction (at least the version of DANDR that I have , but mine is over 10 years old, perhaps they got more liberal)
You should get yourself a copy of an Atkins Book, at a used paperback store there are usually lots of copies for under a buck.
In it among other things you'll find lists of legal foods and sample menus.
