See Surgical Team Tomorrow!

Sooo....tomorrow I see my surgical team to ask for an RNY.
I had a sleeve Aug 2010. Hopped on the surgeons table at 620, after only losing 20 or so lbs preop.
I am now 2 years post op. The plan was to have a 2 stage Duodenal Switch. But after doing loads of research and stuff think I am more suited to an RNY. Also, I have a stretchy stomach and need a tinier one, which I would get with RNY, but not a DS.
Last weigh in I was 477.8 and hopefully will be even less. I am already on the NHS waiting list, hoping for surgery Nov/Dec time. I had a hard time during recovery from my sleeve. Maybe this time will be different as I am a whole person lighter.
Anyways, just asking for some positive thoughts

Queenie, I hope you are approved for the RNY since you have made the decision that is what you need to do for you. I am so proud of you and your efforts and the progress you have made with your sleeve, diet and exercise. You are amazing. You deal with all the pain from the bad hips and the excess panni and still manage to exercise. You are a true inspiration! I think you will do great with the RNY. Best of luck to you!
Hugs!

Well, saw my surgical team today (not my actual surgeon sadly) And the consultant said I have my facts right and my opinion is valid but he cannot and will not say or do anything until he speaks to my surgeon as I am a complex case, lol.
Fair enough! At least I was able to make my desires known
Also, scale was broken. YAY! A random extra weigh in on a different scale had me worried, but it was broken so WI tomorrow as scheduled.
Excited for the future, whatever it may bring0
