High Caloric Foods

I am on day four of the diet and the last two days have woken up feeling a little funky. I am breastfeeding, so I know I need to consume about 1800 calories and yesterday I focused on eating a lot, but with lots of veggies, I'm having a hard time getting to 1800 calories.

I am doing lots of salads and trying to incorporate more beans and lentils but still not getting there. I was thinking of adding more nuts (such as almonds), but I know you should limit nuts.

What are some high caloric foods to eat on this plan?

    Almonds (or butter)
    Peanut Butter
    Really any nut would work.
    Real Butter
    Bacon
    Full fat cottage cheese
Add extra Macadamia/ Olive (or other oil that high in monounsaturated fats) to your veggies and beans

Its not that you have to avoid nuts. For me, I measure anything that is very caloric like fats/nuts. As long as I am eating most of my calories from Beans/Nuts/meat and not depending on veggies to make the bulk of my diet I will get the calories I need and lose weight. (and Tim talks about this in the book)
