Interesting Link involves low carb or "clean eating"

This is a link my husband showed to me because of the various health issues/symptoms I face everyday. Now mind you, I dont buy into EVERYTHING this lady has to say but for those of use that have chosen to limit carbs for one reason or another, I thought this was some very interesting info. The video is kinda long but it did help me to realize that some of the issues I may be facing may be bigger than I realize AND that low carb/clean eating is the way to go.
This is just INFORMATION - not trying to sway anyone's point of view.

Hey, thank you very much for that, I hadn't seen it before.
You are not going to sway my opinion because I am down with all of that already.
Health starts with the gut and what we put in it.
Never mind losing fat and TDEE and BMR and whatever, let us eat for health first and chances are we will likely have a (relatively) lean body as a by-product.
You have probably seen this but I came across it on Celiac disease and found it interesting:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvK9KZy1xaw
The whole "Underground Wellness" channel is well worth a look, the "Sugar, A Bitter Truth (Short Version)" got me into this whole health thing about 6 months ago.
That was when I was hungry all the time, feeling deprived, heavier and less energetic and generally disillusioned with calorie restriction and the general avoidance of dietary fat.
Thanks again, an inspiring story.0 -

Yeah I'd seen that before and it's amazing. I'm glad that this has gotten quite a bit of focus from people, and it's amazing what Dr. Whals was able to do for herself with just diet.
There are plenty of people here on MFP that hate on this kind of eating, but really if it's good for someone to recover from MS, why wouldn't it be good for everyone? It really is a great example of how food really affects your health and as a by product your weight more than anything else you do.0
