Not too sure if the co-ordination of the group is coming so I'll be the first to jump in. I'm away overnight so my results are a day early but....I made the grade!!!
I'm a newbie to the site and it's been really powerful in helping me focus on my food intake and that combined with exercise I've just snook in. A little bit close to call but it's 10lbs exactly off for me which I'm over the moon about.

This came with a one week vacation to Cyprus in the middle so extra focus was needed and lots and lots of exercise.
I hope many others have made positive progress.

Great work!!
I'm really close myself. Half way through, I thought I didn't have a chance. However, since the 15th of the month, the pounds poured off and I lost 6 in the last two weeks. So now I'm really close. In fact, I'd call myself "one really good poop away from meeting the goal."
I'm giving myself the full time. Final weigh-in for me will be Saturday morning.
More importantly, regardless of the results, I'm already thinking about what my goals for September will be. Ten pounds or not in August will be behind me in 48 hours. Can't change the past. But I have the power to affect the future.0 -

That's around 8.4 pounds, not 10 but I'm pretty pleased since it got me so much closer to my ideal weight! :drinker:0 -

I'm very happy with this especially considering I was sick for about 11 days and didn't exercise at all during that time
Thanks for putting together this challenge, it really helped me push myself! Only 8.5 lbs left to lose till I get to my Final weight loss goal!0 -

Not gonna make the full 10 myself, but I'll give it all I got. I've been so tired with work,exercising, and life that I overslept this morning and missed my morning workout. I'm gonna do a 5 mile walk after work, but not sure if I'll be able to fit another workout in today.
I'll post my final results tomorrow also to give myself the full time.0 -
Hi everyone! I apologize for being MIA for a while. Between getting 2 kids ready for school, starting school myself, unexpected family visit and a Tropical storm....I have had my hands full. Numbers are still trickling in, so be just a little more patient, and final numbers will post over the weekend.0

Weighed in at 293.5 this morning. I am nowhere near my 10 pounds. I think I am down about 1.5lbs since the start of the challenge. I guess I need to step up my game if I am going to make my goals.0

I'm so happy for all of you that have met the challenge and reached your goals, and to those of you that haven't met the goal but have still dropped some pounds, good job. Though I went in the opposite direction this month and actually put weight on, I'm still less then I was 8 weeks ago. I'm not giving up and I'm hoping to see these extra pounds come off again and make better progress in September. I think my downfall was to many parties this summer and trips. In fact I'm going away again this weekend, celebrating 39 yrs of marriage. We also have a few other trips planned through Dec. I have to remind myself that calories count even on vacations and that if your going to eat extra calories you have to do extra exercise. Thank you all for your support, and have a wonderful, Labor day weekend. :happy:0

Well I came really darn close. My starting weight was 213.8. My finishing weight is 204.2.
That's 9.6 pounds lost!
September, here I come. Let's hope the start of football season doesn't derail me.0 -

Grats to everyone for sticking through the challenge! I lost a total of 4.7 pounds! I'm sticking at this weight, but my inches are continuing to melt away. I've even gone down a pants size and can fit into my dresses again.
I am very pleased with the results and the extra accountability and community gained from joining this group.
Now, I am off to bike ride myself into exhaustion at the beach!0 -
