Hi,
I'm just starting back to bodybuilding after some time off from health issues. I have a ways to go after gaining quite a few pounds, but know that this is what takes it off. Someday again soon, I'll be able to see those beautiful muscles under the fat. So glad to see a bodybuilding group here!

Welcome and much success to you on the journey. The main thing is to be patient and persistent. Keep lifting.0

I'm back from summer break. I can now go to the gym again since my kiddos are in school. Yes-it was an excuse, but I kept running since my 1/2 marathon is TOMORROW! Good luck to you.
For all of you here-for those of us getting back in the swing, should we start with cutting, do a good mix of cardio and lifting or just do lifting for now primarily? I have 7 months to look my best for my 10 year anniversary cruise!0 -

You have been running like crazy. Shift to lifting for 4 months with light cardio once done with the race. Transition to cutting 12 weeks prior to the cruise.0 -
Thanks, Trelm! I'll stick with my 6 mile run every Sunday because it is a social hour for me. I'll start hitting the weights hard in a few days once I'm recovered. I did it in 2:41:22. Not stellar, but it was HOT and humid. I had loads of fun, but time to LOOK good now:-)0
