How To Choose A Workout Program

I want to express that I am really pumped that you are considering taking your fitness to the next level. Now you may be looking at all of the different workout options and wondering which one is right for YOU. Not all of these workouts are for all levels, but that is why we have something for everyone here. Now you have NO EXCUSES for not getting into shape, lol! It does not matter if you are 18, 45, or 65. There seriously is something to choose from for all ages and fitness levels.

Now, what I don’t want for you is for you to make a decision on a workout based souly on what other opinions are. How many times have you heard something like this….”Insanity is so crazy! We could only get through the first week” or “I almost threw up after the warm up.” Ok people, that is not smart! Do your research! I don’t want you to waste your money on a program that is way out of your league! If you can’t go out and run a lap around a track without nearly passing out, then stay away from the advanced programs for now. I want you to be challenged, don’t get me wrong, but I also want you to get results! Not have your DVD’s sit and collect dust.

Another thing, way too many people quit WAY too early on some of these programs! What they don’t realize is what is just right around the corner. They work hard for 2 weeks and then look at the scale and see no change! Your body is not only going to shred fat, but you are going to build muscle that actually outweighs fat. So the scale may not shift one pound for the first 3 weeks, but that doesn’t mean that you aren’t making progress. It’s the later part of the first month that you will start seeing results. And remember it’s not all about what the scale says….you need to look at your body compisition. Measure your body fat percentage to see true progress!

Ok…..Let’s say you have been way out of the game or just never have really been in great shape. You can start light by going with 10-Minute Trainer or Slim in 6. These workouts take less time out of your day and are less strenuous on your body. Many people have gotten amazing results from these workouts alone!

If you are ready to challenge yourself and get absolutely ripped in 90 days, go with P90X or INSANITY. Or, you may be on your 2nd or 3rd round of one of these and ready to really go extreme with P90X2 or INSANITY-Asylum. These programs are excellent for shedding body fat fast and building nice lean muscle!

Some in between programs will still give you a good pump and burn calories like you wouldn’t believe. LES MILLS PUMP is a great body sculpting program! You could also go with ChaLEAN Extreme or TurboFire to have fun and get your body rockin’!
