"Atheism is a religion"
It's an oldie but goodie.
Who HASN'T heard this attack?
Especially hilarious when it comes from a theist,
as if the theist IS admitting religions are dangerous.:laugh: .......
Atheists have no dogma,
no organized beliefs,
no guaranteed shared beliefs, actually....{ unless you count the belief there are no gods,}
no leader,
no holy book,
no sacraments or customs,
NO RULES,
and not always a lot in common from one atheist to the next.
there IS some diversity among atheists.
BUT I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sense of humor held by most atheists i know.
Come on, everyone sing along together:

Allah
OR Jesus,
OR Zeus,
OR Horus,
does this atheist then have 4 "religions"??0 -
What? Not a religion? You mean we don't make a ritual every Sunday of smoking a ton of drugs, killing a baby, drinking its blood, blaring the Black Sabbath and plotting to overthrow America? Jeez, I've been mistaken about my views for so long!
