I was in a very competitive marching band program all though high school, so I never felt the need to go to the gym. In college, I smoked like a chimney and walked 2 miles a day to/from class and stayed slim despite all the beer. Needless to say I visited our free-to-students, beautiful, newly remodeled rec center a handful of times in four years. I always hated exercise just for the sake of exercise. Running's boring, lifting weights is for gym rats, and cycling is for dorks right? Well now that I've gained a few and I'm trying to get rid of the jiggle, things have changed. I love swimming, zumba, hip hop dance, palates, yoga, and I'm discovering new things all the time. I like the feeling of being able to go further, or reach further, lift more, and jiggle less. Has anyone else recently experienced this? It feels so good to be taking care of my body!

I used to loathe working out. However, in the last 6 I find it fun. I Zumba, aerobic step, and Turbo Jam. I am currently waiting for Brazil Butt Lift to come in the mail. I can't wait.
I was also in marching band in high school. When I was in college, the 1st time around about 9 yrs ago, I took aerobics 3 days a week. I dreaded it then. But I enjoy working out now.0
