So my goal from now until December is.............
To lose 25 lbs. I think that is fair.

Hi everyone!
When I joined MFP in July I was 190lbs! I had lost weight for a wedding last November and I was about 165lbs. I couldn't believe I had gained almost all the weight I had lost back because I had reverted, stopped going to the gym and ate junk throughout all the holidays. Ideally I would like to be about 140lbs by 12/31 of this year. I am still unsure I will be able to make that weight or that it would be healthy to lose so much weight between now and then.
CW - 173.6
GW - between 145lbs -140lbs
UGW between 120-130lbs (by May/June of next year)
I have set 3 mini goal dates
Oct 24 (my birthday) Goal - 160lbs
Nov 22 (Thanksgiving) Goal - 150lbs
Dec 31 (New Years Eve!) Goal - 140lbs
This challenge is great to help ensure I meet this goals! Right now losing any weight and keeping it off during all the upcoming events will be motivation for me, but I hope to find some great friends and help motivate others who will motivate me!0 -

My goal is to lose 5kg (11 lbs) by 5th November and then to maintain that weight for the rest of the challenge and into Christmas. I find that weekends are terrible for me as any will power goes out the window.

for me i think realistically losing 25-30 pounds would be a set goal. I would like 40, but not sure if it would happen. I need to get my eating down to a science. i got the workout part down.
So i will say 25 pounds to keep it safe.....thats about 6 pounds a month.

My goal is to drop 25 pounds before Christmas. I figure 15 weeks to go, a little under two pounds per week in loss..... That would be excellent. I am currently at 175, I would be beyond thrilled if I can make it to 150 by then!!!! I do have my two birthdays and two holidays between now and then... lol.0

Mine ideally would be 28lbs, I have 42lbs to reach target weight but as there are only 16 weeks until Xmas, realistically 28lbs is pushing it for me! We are having our first holiday away this Christmas and want to feel and look slim, also dont want to squeeze into plane seat and feel tight with seat belt lol!!
How many calories should I be on a week to achieve 28lbs in 16 weeks?

My goal is to lose 10kg...so 22 pounds.
Currently I'm in the "overweight" category for my BMI.
Getting rid of this weight would place me at the highest end of the "healthy weight range" category for my weight an height.
