Ok... I have been searching all morning and none of the posts are still active. How do I post pictures in my blog?

Well, I couldn't sleep. And I know figuring out how to upload pictures isn't always the easiest. I'm a visual person, so I thought I would put this together and hopefully it will help someone out. (Plus I love seeing all the before & afters on MFP, so if it can help get more of those yay! )
The reason I posted in the Success area, is because I figured this is where most people are going to need help posting pictures.
Sorry for having to see one of my wedding pictures over and over again.
This is for using http://photobucket.com/.
You do have to make an account. But its free, and then you'll have a place store all your awesome pictures. They are also pretty good about not sending you any junk to your email. I've only gotten one thing from them in like 3 years.

If you click the "more options", this page will come up. Sorry if its hard to read. But you'll want to make the largest number to 550, this seems to a good size. It will still be big, but your picture won't get clipped off. (For example: This image was resized from 1024x680 to 550x360)

So, the reason I wanted to point out this whole %20 thing is because it can really irritate someone. lol When you have a picture or an album with a space in it, sometimes when you copy over the link, it will have a %20 where the space should be. If you don't fix this, your picture won't work!

Notice...no %20 in the link I have written in red.

Hope that helps with adding a picture to a TOPIC.
I also made one for adding pictures to a blog post.

The %20 problem is back! Only this time, you want to make sure you leave the link as is. Do not take out the %20 or the picture will not show up in your blog.

And LAST BUT NOT LEAST....HOW TO DO A TEST RUN BEFORE POSTING TO A TOPIC!
Send yourself a message! Go to MY HOME > MAIL > Compose Message
And send yourself a message with the picture code in it (the [ img ] *link* [ /img ] code)
If it shows up in your message correctly, then it will show up on your topic post correctly.
Hope this helps. :flowerforyou:0 -
