I saw Tahini today while shopping for almond butter. It's sesame seed puree or something like that. Does anyone buy this? What do you do with it?

It's used in alot of middle eastern cooking. Specifically it's used in hummus and babaghanouj. Hummus is made from chic peas, which aren't paleo/primal...but baba ghanouj is made from eggplant and totally fits into the primal/paleo. It's high in good fats! and delicious. You can also make dressing's with it. In my opinion tahini should be a staple in any paleo/primal person's pantry. It keeps forever and tastes delicious.0

There was a delicious sweet potato hummus recipe in Clean Eating awhile back that called for it. I also use it in salad dressings (you'll find it in Green Goddess versions).
I don't remember the proportions of the sweet potato hummus, but it was baked sweet potatoes (smashed), oil, and tahini mixed together.0 -
I use tahini occasionally as a dip using carrot sticks and celery. Yum.0
