Wild king salmon filet

So I just splurged on a 1 lb large wild Alaskan salmon filet at the Fresh Market. Even "on sale", it was pricey!! What should I do with it? I need some inspiration! Give me your one favorite salmon recipe, please- preferably baked in the oven so I don't have to hover over the stovetop while it cooks.
Thanks!

My absolute favorite is to drizzle butter or coconut or olive oil over top, season with Sea Salt, Dill, garlic and some lemon juice sprinkles, I cook it on a baking pan lined with parchment paper to make cleanup easy. Then you bake it at 400 degrees for 15-20 mins then start checking it to see if it is done. When it flakes apart its done otherwise it is still a bit mushy.

Very simple and oh so good.
  • Mix Dijon mustard with herbs de provence, spread over it in entirety and bake. My husband prefers to smother his in sliced scallions (or onions), sliced garlic, sliced lemons and potlatch seasoning (a mix sold around here).

    Either way it's delicious!
