Hi All!
My name is Claire and I'm 22, 5'3" (a bit under), and 242 lbs - though I was 253 a couple of weeks ago when I started using MFP.
I've been hypothyroid since I was 4, and have struggled with my weight since then.I will admit, however, that I love food and definitely am not the healthiest - nor best portioned - eater.
I've just graduated from undergrad, given half my savings to a gym and a personal trainer, and I'm really hoping to kick this once and for all.
I'm so excited to know there are others like me out there, and it's nice to see that hypothyroid men and women do struggle with losing weight - it's not just an excuse.
I'm excited to see everyone achieve their goals! Please let me know if y'all have any tips.
