Thought I knew what I was doing, but confused myself!

So I started doing a reset about 2 weeks ago. I figured my TDEE to be 2230 based on my activity level at the time. I was on my last week of Insanity (super cardio). Anyways, I finished that, took a break last week and started NROL4W today. So, my activity level has changed, right? I refigured my TDEE to be 1960 or so doing light activity. I work a desk job. Do I change my TDEE to 1960 (cut about 300 calories) now to account for my lower activity level or do I keep them the same because I am trying to do the reset? So confused???!!!?? Also, for those of you doing the reset AND NROL4W, do you eat less on the days you don't lift or keep your calories constant all week? I think I am making this way more complicated than I need to,.. Thanks in advance for your help!

Since you have at least 6 weeks left of reset left and since Insanity to NROL4W can be a big cal burn difference, I'd suggest readjusting your tdee accordingly.
I recommend using this calculator http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/
Also, rule of thumb is to figure out your WEEKLY tdee and just eat that amount everyday (exercise or no) because your cals are balanced out for the week...not by the day using this method and it promotes consistency to help your body trust that food is not scarce. :flowerforyou:0 -
^^Agreed! However, if you're doing NROLFW , then you will be lifting 3x per week which still falls into the moderate work. Still need
Cals to build the muscle. I have it set on moderate and eat the same cals every day. Hope that helps. I'm almost done week 4 of

Thanks for the input. I decided to reduce my calories a little and eat the same amount each day. I plan on doing some cardio two days a week along with the NROL4W, so I will be burning some calories on those days also. I feel like I may be too focused on the numbers and need to relax a little, but I so want this to work!
I'm sure I'll loosen up eventually...
