Oh Shea that is so true.
I am so much better than 70 days ago.I can do so many things that were beyond my ability when I started.
I even don't mind that I still have some way to go to reach my goal, as I see things changing I realise my life and health is better today and my attitude has improved.I look forward to continuing my lifestyle and seeing where this ends up.Its exciting!!
:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: I have you to thank for starting this group and sticking with it .:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

That said, I did Chest and Back with Ab ripper X .Almost did the full mason twists.I couldn't do 1 on DAY 1 or DAY 30.

Today...the ever so not so popular Yoga X. I only burned 150 calories, for some reason this doesn't seem right. I also did some Yoga Meltdown from Jillian and found myself burning almost that 150 in 30 mins...hmmmm?! I cannot just get away with a totally bummer of a burn day, so I did some walking DVD for 2 miles to get a 118 calorie burn.
I'm discouraged totally! Weighing 4 lbs more this week, yep said MORE. I'm doing everything right. TOM left yesterday and flooding myself with water. I do give myself a treat at night...but come on m/ms and a weight watcher's ice cream treat cannot make me gain 4 lbs...UGH! :(

I know I haven't been here lately, but some things came up, I haven't been abale to work out everyday like I use to and I notice something..No workout at all but still eating equals 1.5lbs loss :noway:

I was getting so bored and seeing i've lost more weight not working out as much is making me wonder if I should continue..

The workouts are so long and I haven't seen a big change.

WOW! Congrats on the 1.5 lbs lost. :)

Well. Today's my "rest or stretch" day. However, I'm really itching for some running on the treadmill or some other type of cardio for an hour.

Is this bad? Some people have told me I need a rest day.

Also, Do I really eat close to my daily allowance on my rest day too? Seems like a lot when I'm not working out (if that's what I choose to do).

Hope everyone's hanging in there and bringing it!

Well Shea, that's a good result so far in my book. Perhaps it is time for you to take a break from daily exercise, you sound like you may be over training and this will not help you at all.If you cut your exercise by 50% for the next week and find you feel better then you should do this for 2 weeks ( you could tailor the P90 X and then try a totally new exercise programme which is very different from anything you have done before.
Sometimes we have to modify things to allow exercise to fit our lives. So I think it ok, if you cant fit in a strict regime like P90 X or the other programs you are doing, at least you are conscious of your eating patterns and I suppose your muscles have raised your metabolism so you can afford to rest at the moment.
I like to remind people that it is on the rest days that the body adapts to the stress of training.
One does not need to train every day to see results. It is possible to lose weight by diet alone, but the mind has to be in a good place. I think you have a healthy approach and you know what you want to achieve from this.
    Well done :-)

Thx fizzy. I was thinking along those lines. With exactly 2 weeks left I think I am going to tailor my workout and pick up on Monday with everyone on week 12. Even thought I have decided to change things up and cut back on the P90X because this is working for me, I want to hang in for the 2 weeks and finish with you lovely ladies!

So i'm cutting back but sticking around!

    Michelle,
At this stage, Shea is right, do what feels right. If you are having a rest day you might not feel as hungry as on days you work out.The usual formulas factor in that you will have rest times so it averages out the calorie requirement over 7 days.
You are doing so well. Keep up the good work.:flowerforyou:
