Ok, so I had a bunch of bloodwork and other tests done. My cortisol levels were checked and are apparently high. The normal range is 2.3 - 11.9 and my level was 26.1. This was a late afternoon result. How can I have too much cortisol and be HYPO? So... now what? My PCP asked if I wanted to go see a different endo. What the heck do I do now? All my other hormone levels were normal. She did not re-check thryoid levels since they were checked a couple of weeks ago. I am going in for an abdominal/pelvic ultrasound. She did not say what for, I am assuming to loook for anything ODD.

So sorry you're having such a rough go of it. It seems to me, that you should get the 4x a day cortisol test... rather than just once. That's what I've read is more accurate, since our levels change throughout the day.
Hope you get some answers soon. :flowerforyou:

I am hypo and my cortisol is normally very high. Am told because diabetic ensure you get the full cortisol stress tests and variable glucose tolerance.

It is a tough road for you and I hope you get the answers you seek
