I am new at this as I just have had my thyroid out beginning of August of this year, but my back, legs and arm muscles hurt. I have to go to dr soon but can this be due to being possibly hypo?

Yes, muscle aches and joint pain can be due to being hypo. I've been hypo for about 7 years now. It's not fun. Your doc will probably check your TSH levels when you visit. Ask him/her to treat your symptoms not your numbers. My worst symptom is constipation...:( But I've suffered from the muscle aches and joint pain too. Epsom salt baths help. As does potassium. Maybe an anti inflammatory med?...or eat lots of pineapple.
Good luck. Hope you feel better soon.
