anyone else find treadmill harder than outside??

I started C25K August 1st--doing it every other day and today I started Week 9 Day 1. TODAY is the first day since August 1st that the weather has not permitted me to run outside. I had to use my treadmill. It was pure torture--I found I couldn't even keep up at the pace I normally run outdoors and ran much slower--is that possibly because I was so bored...? I was watching tv--can't get into using music when I run for some reason. But I kept looking at the distance and time and thinking OMG when is this going to be over. ANYONE ELSE??? Anyone usually run outdoors find it more cumbersome and what seems a little harder indoors on a treadmill??

Help!

I need some inspiration, as this will be my mode of running when winter weather doesn't permit me to run outside--and I don't want to cop out!!

I did week 5 day 1 today on treadmill because of weather. I found it alot harder. I was pushing so much harder than I do outside. Only positive thing was it was easier on my knees. Congrats on week 9.... you will be a graduate soon. Gonna be awhile for me.

I couldn't even muster up enough motivation to push myself as fast as I run when outside--which isn't that fast-- maybe 5. - 5.2 mph. I kept slowing down the treadmill...

My maximum speed was 4.5 which I feel is turtle slow ! I guess it was good for me since I probably go slower outside, but boy was I pooped out.

I actually found this the exact opposite
what i love about the treadmill is that i can control the speeds and now that i am running consistently at the same speed. when i am outdoors i dont have this control and feel like i will slow down when its getting harder.

That being said when i run on the treadmill i cover the stats part of the screen with my towel, i can still see the speed when i change it but not the time or distance. That way i dont have an indication of how much time is left, as i tend to "get tired" when i can see i still have more time to go.
