I have two big bags of yams. Please give me ideas for what to do with them before I get sick of yams.

thanks.

I've made a curry using diced sweet potatoes that is still requested usually every week. just add the yams/sweet potatoes to a pan with oil and add a scrambled egg, green onion, curry powder, salt, pepper, a little brown sugar, and I usually add a tiny bit of garam masala. as it cooks and starts to stick, I'll add a spoonful of ghee just to add some flavor.

I roast and mash them and mix in coconut oil and salt. In a pinch you can microwave cook them but they don't have that roasty sweet flavor. Only takes about 2 minutes to cook though.
  • Yam chips :) Mashed yams also freeze well.
