HELLO EVERYONE

I am so happy to find some more low-carb friends! I've been trying to input my numbers in mfp and it seems I am coming up short on my calorie intake so I am finding ways to increase that. How is everyone doing? Looking to meet some new low carb buddies!

    Adding fat is the way to go for calories, it doesn't take much to bump it up ... butter, cream, etc.

    My diet is at least 65% fat by calories, most of the time more. Works for me :)

    I agree on the butter and cream :) If you have a really high fat cheese locally, these can be good too.

    Hello & Welcome. It's quite easy to add some extra cals to your day by doing the following:

    Adding a high cal, low carb snack- like cheese, pork rinds or nuts

    making home made 'full fat' salad dessings (like sour cream & chive or green pesto & olive oil)

    Drizzling cooked veggies in olive oil (or chilli oil/ garlic oil/ basil oil)

    Sprinkle salads with crispy bacon!

    Add a home made cream sauce to your meat dishes (Like cream & mustard, tarragon & white wine, chasseaur sauce etc...)

    Add flavoured butter to your steaks

    Avocado to spice up your mexican dishes...

    Compound butter melting its buttery goodness on a roasted breast of chicken or steak tips, even salmon!
