Restricted just to walking

Hi everyone, I had surgery less than 2 weeks. Before the surgery I had a trainer that I would go to once a week and ate whatever I wanted however I realized last week that although I was strong, I wasn't losing weight. I definitely could lost about 25 lbs. The doctor restricted me to just walking as a form of exercise for 6 weeks. I was worried that I would gain even more weight and I decided to start counting my calories. My calorie intake if I want to lost weight should be 1200. I saw this group and thought to myself, "WOW 1200" So here I am hoping to make new friends that I may have something in common with.

Yes, i am pretty much limited to just walking, too, and some stretching and toning exercises.
This does kinda force us into a lower calorie allowance......but, i am getting used to it, more and more. I still mess up, out of having bad habits for quite some time. Habits take a while to change.
I am learning a lot, a lil bit more each week.
I am learning to swap out cooking spray for butter,
using ground WHITE MEAT turkey,
and each week, i make a low-calorie recipe. Every recipe i've made, i've learned something new about low calorie eating, get new ideas.
"SKINNYTASTE.COM" is great website to look over. You can google "skinnytaste" plus any recipe you want, to get ideas.
like "skinny taste pizza"
or "skinny taste soup"
or whatever recipe you have in mind! They might have a low calorie version of the recipe on skinny taste.0 -
