Another iron on the fire

So last time I went to the Dr. my cortisol levels were high. I went in for a follow up on my abdominal and pelvic scans and they discovered a HUGE cyst (maybe fibroid) on my left ovary. The cyst is almost as big as my ovary. Now, I was diagnosed with PCOS many years ago. I had/have all the symptoms including multiple cysts. That was before I had kids. Since then, I still had all symptoms but no cysts. This one has popped up in the last year.
My PCP suggested that I go to a new endo. He is supposed to be a thyroid/adrenal/hormonal expert. We will see. My pcp said if he doesnt help me, to come back to her and we will try another route.
Every symptom I have points to hypoT. I even discovered that ovarian cysts are an indication of... guess??? That's right - HypoT! Yet my hormone levels (male and female) and my thyroid levels are normal. I have been told that my Fibromyalgia may actually be due to hypoT or that it may BE the hypoT and I dont actually have Fibro after all.
I am so tired of chasing my tail. I get so tired of downing 20 different pills - some RX, mostly vitamins and supplements. I am so tired of being TIRED and grouchy and scatterbrained and FAT!!!!!
I am just venting really but damn, sometimes this battle gets a little old and VERY frustrating!

What Hypo test did you get? Was it just the TSH test, or did the doctor test for Free T3 and Free T4? The Free T3 number is really what you need to know. TSH is not an accurate indicator, but yet it is commonly used to screen for thyroid issues.0

PS, my doctor says I have symptoms of PCOS... but when he asked if I wanted an ultrasound to diagnose it, I told him no, because I don't want kids, and I didn't really care why I wasn't ovulating... now that I have horrendous acne, I'm tempted to ask him more about it.0
