I don't have a huge data plan, so I don't use my phone except to get on the MFP app.

About the same speed as 2 days ago, but .7 mile longer today. Whew. Tough. Felt sick at the end.

It farking amazes me that my legs seem to be perfectly fine afterward... in fact, they seem ready for more. But my oxygen intake or whatever is just flipping holding me back!! Not fair. Wow, felt like vomiting at one point. But I'm fine now.

Are you running the whole time now or still walk/run?

Running nearly the entire time. Stopped one time today. Felt like I was gonna puke.

Hey, your max speed got better! You're doing an awesome job, even if you did almost puke. :drinker:

It did :))) Happy some of the hell is paying off.

And today I didn't need to puke! But my throat was tickled/itching from something and was driving me crazy for over half of this run. I needed water sooooooo bad. I learned my lesson... going to take water with me and stash somewhere next time. It would have really helped.

Also... tried out a park today. I think running around other people helped. Gave me a little more incentive to keep going :) A guy drove past and made eyes at me... and he was a sordid looking character, so NOT cool. Glad I was around others and not totally alone in that moment. Kind of creepy!

I don't take water because I already have to hold my ipod, but I was really wishing I had some the other night. I've been running at night, and there's never anyone out. There are a couple of dark spots where someone could hide, which freaks me out a little, but it's the only flat place to run. By the time I get home from work, our park is closed, and it's a lot of hills. I'm glad that worked out better for you, and that you had people around you. Who wants to be looking over their shoulder worrying about a creeper?!

Forgot to update with my 8K stats:

It was my 2nd actual race. I ended up with 52:08 or a 10:29 min/mile. Not too bad considering I thought I was going to poop my pants about 2 miles into it!! That was quite a scare. There were lots of cute costumes that night. It was a night race, Freaky Friday. One super tall guy (I mean like 6.5 feet or something tall!!) had his super tall Great Dane on a leash running with all of us. There were lots of college girls in tutus with makeup and perfect hair running too. Lol! One wore tons of perfume and somehow her pace was right with mine... so I ended up breathing in her perfume for a few miles.

My next race is on the 18th, a 5K. At 9:30am I think. I can sign up day of the race (good thing because it's out of town). There are tech tees so I get another cool t-shirt for my collection :)

Tomorrow I'm planning to go to the park for a 3 mile training run.

Heh!! You should have been there at mile 2.5... I was clutching my right side uttering "****, ****, ****, ****..." Lol!!!

On a positive note, I shaved some time off my run today... I can see I'm getting a little faster! Can't wait until my practice runs are under 11min/mile!
