Thank you to all of you for sharing your stories and personal details of your lives!!!

I was just telling a friend recently, that, for me, there is how I feel when I take the thyroid meds (Levo, 150 mcg) aka good, and how I feel when I forget or run out of meds aka bad. No in between.

Since I've joined this group and started reading the posts, I've come to realize that my "good" may not be as good as I thought. I still suffer from same of the symptoms many of you have described (ie fatigue, weight gain, etc).

I'm sorry to say that I haven't taken my thyroid health as seriously as I could or should have. :ohwell:

But thanks to this group, I plan on being more aggressive with my treatment. After 15 years it's about time, right?

So once again, that you all for sharing and caring.

Val

  • I feel the same way! Before I was diagnosed, I was doing everything a person should do. I desparately wanted to lose weight, and exercised and watched my foods, made healthier choices, but the weight just kept packing on! In the meantime, I'm watching all my other friends be successful, and I really was happy for them, but I was beating myself up all the time wondering what am I doing wrong! Well, now I know it was something inside of me and now I can properly manage this. I have met a lot of nice folks on here who understand what I'm going through! Here's to our health!!
