Just Joined!

Hello!

I just joined your group. I am trying to lose 30 pounds. I am a curvy and it is hard for me to lose weight. Any advice or tips! I weight 170 but I dont look/feel like it. I do at least 45 mins of cardio 4 times a week and try to incorporate weights by using the ipersonal trainer app.

    Welcome! For me, the best thing I did for myself was to quit eating processed sugar and all the tempting goodies that contain it. It took about 2 weeks cold turkey to get it out of my system, followed by 1 1/2 years (and counting) self discipline. Not everyone must do this to lose weight, but I really have a sugar addiction, so it was necessary for me. Another piece of advice is to log in everything you eat every single day. Once you see where your calories are coming from, you start to make better food choices as well as portion sizes. I LOVE pizza, but have found a lighter pizza (Papa Murphy's delites) and only eat 2 pieces instead of half the pizza at a sitting. Portion control is huge! Good luck on your journey!
