I FINALLY feel like I'm starting to get the hang of this thing! I'm still breathing heavy and dripping sweat, but I'm keeping up so much better with only 1 rest (stupid bicycle crunches!) and feeling good!
How about yall?

Great job! I feel like I am getting the hang of it too!
I woke up this morning and because of the rain my stupid internet wasn't working (I watch the video on YouTube). Thankfully I remembered the routine so I just did it myself I wanted to stop/take so many breaks - I guess not having the visual/Jillian yelling at you really makes a difference in my motivation- but I thought about all my MFP 30DS peeps and powered through!
Thanks guys for all the support, I think we will make it through the next 3 weeks0 -
Still going very well! Knowing its only 20 minutes helps motivate me and I feel so good after. I'm definitely feeling much stronger than day one. So far so good!
I'm in an apartment on the second floor and so nervous that I'm annoying the people below me with all the jumping! Oh well, it's only a few minutes a day.0 -
Just finished day 4 and apart from a pulling a muscle in my leg this morning, think it is getting slightly easier (only very very slightly!!)
I agree, it is made easier by the fact that it is only 20 mins!
We will do it girls! And imagine our lovely bodies (inside and out) when we have finished!!!!!!
We will then have to do another one of her dvds and start up another group!!
Am so proud of us. If you are anything like me, you wouldnt have imagined that you would be doing this every night and sticking to it. Just shows what support from others can do.
Thank you all of you xx0 -
Just finished Day 4! And yes - it is getting easier. I beat my nemesis (a.k.a push ups) a bit today - did a bit more that previous times! Will try to go for the real push ups next time, not the modified ones. And my arms do not hurt that much anymore! Woohoo!
Weight wise - not losing - but I know that is due to building muscle! Hopefully!
And yes - the support group here is awesome! I did not want to do it today - but the thought that I would need to come here and think of some excuses to give you guys why I did not do it - that convinced me to do it! Plus - saw some progress pictures - that always motivates me!!! So thanks!!!!
Lets keep up the good work!0 -
darn all of you for post that you had done it already.. I was also trying to come up with an excuse to not do it. My arms are too sore.. my legs are on fire.. bleh bleh bleh... Now to go change and go put in that awful dvd...
Thank you for being strong and helping me be strong as well. I hope you all have great days. I will post when I finish Day 4.0 -
Awesome for you that you did not give up! Man.. I did not predict that this group is gonna help so much! It helps me LOADS to get my *kitten* moving!0

I offically kicked JM's butt today!! I only gave up once on the jump rope jumps. but I think its cuz I was jumping more than I usually do lol0

So glad day 4 is done and behind me. Spent 45 mintues on the treadmill first, took a 15 minute break then did this workout. It sucked, plain and simple. I got through it all but it was not pretty, I was pretty wiped out afterwards. I am feeling stronger and think I am pushing a little harder with each move, so glad there are only 26 more days!!0

Ugh - I was really not doing well during my session this morning. My boobs REALLY hurt and I had no energy. Turns out I started my period a week early. I didn't get a good burn today as I gave up on some of the jumping but now I know why I felt terrible.
I'm going out of town for the weekend - not sure I'll get my workout in as I'll be in hotels but I'll try. At least I'll hit the gym at the hotel.0 -
I finished day 5 today. I started before I found this group. This is my second time doing the shred. I just finished ripped in 30 so uum I'm hoping for similar results0

day 4 was a lot easier i can tell my body is getting comfortable with the moves and my endurance is getting better. im really looking forward to the end results of this.
yesterday i was at work and my fiance called me and said " i just finished my day one of 30 day shred" which i didnt believe him at first. lol but it made me feel better because he's 6'1 - 145 lbs ( a stick ) and he was saying how out of shape he was and he was breathing heavy and tired lol0 -

omg i hate the push ups ! they are seriously the worse thing for me about the whole work out im going to try and do regular ones tonight. (day 5 for me)
and also im gaining weight as well...grr...but im also on my TOM but im hoping its muscle im gaining. its been really frustrating though.0 -
I did level 2 today cause level one had gotten easy. level 2 was NOT easy but hopefully it will be in a few days!0

So I JUST finished, two minutes short of midnight.
I added 5 lb weights, and being that I never used hand weights or have done any form of weightlifting/upper body strength exercises, I did have to put them down a few times during certain moves. Maybe it was the weights or maybe I just put more effort into it, but unlike the other times.... at the end of this day my face was dripping a heck of a lot.
Progress I've noticed..... I'm actually almost able to do the modified push ups..... which I see as an accomplishment since I could barely even do them when I started..... I'm able to do the cardio circuits almost entirely without taking a break.
The only thing I can't get past yet is the final set of those bicycle crunches or whatever they are. My legs are so dead by then that I'm constantly taking those 5 second breaks.0 -
