Late night snack?

I will typically be doing JMBR when my children are put down for bed, typically 7, 8 on a busy day. I did it tonight after I had dinner and now my tummy is a rumbling. Im not sure what qualifies as a good late night snack. Is it ok to just go to sleep with a growling tummy? Would it take away from the workout? Or should I actually go and eat something? An apple with a little peanut butter? A 6 oz container of lite yogurt? Any ideas would be much appreciated, I forgot how hungry I get afterwards and I certainly do not want to cancel out what I just did.

I always have a protein shake after working out and it takes away the rumblies.
Either that or a small tub of yoghurt or something. As long as you're not blowing your calories I don't see why it would be a huge issue.0 -
If you have the calories for it, eat. And even if I didn't have the calories for it, if my tummy was talking I would grab a piece of fruit and large glass of water.
As I working mom I typically don't begin my workout until 7-7:30; sometimes later. I eat dinner first with the family, then wait 40-45 minutes before working out. After working out I have a small recovery drink (trying to finish up this Biggest Loser Protein Powder so I can get a real one!) and then jump in the shower. After my shower I have a glass of skim milk and dessert; usually ice cream.0 -
Alright, good to know. As long as Im not going hog wild and eating ridiculous things Ill be ok. Thanks for the tips ladies!0
