So, my job had a bday party 4 me last Friday.. We had cake, ice cream, chocolate strawberries, cake pops & alot if yummy food. I didnt go crazy on the food/sweets, in fact I had 1 slice of cake and I even ate my 2 cake pops the next day! It seems like every since that day, I cant seem shake the cravings of "like cakey" things & sweets, oh and late night cravings. I do remember this actually happen at our last work party, where I went through a day (after) of sweet cravings, however I was able to get rid of the cravings quick. So, why am I having such a hard time shaking my bad habits this time? Its like I got a taste of the stuff that I used to love and now I can't get it out of my system! If someone can help me out. Thanks in advance!!

I don't know how to help you, but I just thought I'd let you know that I am definitely going through the same thing. Once I cut it out the first time, the cravings disappeared, but now... UGH I am always thinking about desserts.0

oh i get the cravings, especially after working out,, i do not get the sugary sweet ones tho,,, i want chips and dip, and popcorn... still junk is junk,,, we have to try to stay strong and just have it in moderation which is hard to do, hee.....0

I often have the same problem.......a few weeks ago, I had a wonderful slice of baked New York cheesecake. The first slice was wonderful, so was the second the next day, and by the third the following day.....well, I just had to stop. I just had to say 'NO' as i could have worked my way through the whole damn thing by the end of the week. I haven't found a magic way of dealing with this.....just a look in the mirror, and remembering how far I've come usually does it!! Failing that....I chomp on the odd the carrot!!0

Same here, I am always craving chips, salt & crunch. I don't deprive myself from them just eat them in moderation maybe once or twice a week. But this week I was craving straight up junk foor like fried catfish and a taco from my favorite Mexican restaurant. Instead of the taco I made my own burrito bowl and for the catfish I breaded some catfish nuggets and put them in the oven, it satisfied me! Hang in there, satisfy your cravings just try not to go HARD. Hang in there!0
