Changing Levels

So I have a question for everyone...When do you change levels? Do you do 10 days of each level, switch when you feel like you've got a level down, switch when you get bored, or something different?
I just finished my week two, so I have done 6 days of workout 1. (I am doing 3 days a week for 10 weeks.) I am getting extremely bored with level one, but it still kicks my butt! I am still not able to do all the pushups. I am ready to move on to workout 2 just to do something new, but if I switch now I will get bored of it, and then move to workout 3 too soon leaving me with weeks left and nowhere to progress...does that make sense?
Today, to switch it up a little, I switched from 2lb weights to 5 lb weights on some of the exercises that were getting too easy for me. So I did 5lb weights with the dumbbell row, bicep curls, and chest fly. I am definitely feeling it more, and I think that helped to switch it up a little for me!
So I would like to hear what you do!
