Bikram yoga

Hi!
I was wondering if any hypothyroids here are doing Bikram yoga?
I had done it a bit a couple years ago, and it helped with my insomnia quite a bit, and decided to try again.
I've been having quite a lot of trouble loosing weight in the past year - I just increased my Armour dose after my last T4 came back a bit low, and my TSH high end normal, so hopefully that helps.
I was wondering if anyone had luck loosing weight/helping hypo symptoms with Bikram? If so, are you doing it as your sole source of exercise (like go 4-6 times/week), or are you doing it 2-3 times and doing something else?
I've also been reading all sort of mixed information on how many calories it actually burns... goes from 300-1000 a class! WHen I log 90 min yoga here its under 300cal - and I'm pretty sure I burnt more than if I was WALKING for 90 min, but certainly not 1000 either.... any thoughts?
Thanks!
