I'm wondering how you found your doctor. I currently use a nurse practitioner to get my prescriptions and such but I would like to have a doctor who is supportive of natural dessicated thyroid med to check me out once in a while.

Look up a doctor who specializes in Integrative Medicine. Call them and ask them directly if they prescribe Armour or any other natural thyroid medications. That's how I found my doctor. She's actually a nurse practioner as well but the doctor she works under is one of the only doctors who prescribes natural thyroid meds in the city of Albuquerque.0
