Hi, I really hope I don't offend anyone by being here but I would really like some help. I have only recently started binging, as in I had my first ever binge six days ago and since my first binge, I have had four more binge days. The rapid weight gain in those days isn't why I'm worrying though, it's the fact I go from one extreme to the other.
A little about my history: I was diagnosed with anorexia at the age of six, I have been in and out of hospital all my life due to my ed. I started purging when I was sixteen, and was diagnosed with purging type anorexia at the age of seventeen. I have been trying to recover since last august.
My dietician has said while binging isn't any better than not eating at all, she said it's probably my body's way of trying to recover and it will slowly decrease, but I don't want to binge. Being healthy and living a healthy lifestyle is the most important thing to me and binging isn't healthy, I'm just making myself more ill.
Does anyone have any tips to help decrease the binges, other than drinking water because I do that already and it doesn't really do anything? This week I'm going to try eating every 2 hours to see how that works out.
