Has anyone tried Couch 2 5K?
I still have about 7 pounds to lose before meeting my pre-surgery goal and I decided that I really need to focus on following a regular exercise routine. My husband has decided to try Couch 2 5K and I reluctantly decided to join him.
We just finished Week 1 Day 1 and I'm really not sure what I think. Being as big as I am and having fibromyalgia/chronic pain makes any type of exercise extra difficult... running just seems like the most brutal activity for my body. Especially now that I've stopped taking all anti-inflammatory meds since I have to get used to not taking them post-surgery.
Has anyone had the experience of feeling dubious in the beginning but has grown to like it? Are there any other chronic pain sufferers that have taken up running?
