Hi Everyone!

Congrats to the following for meeting last week's challenge AND staying in the green daily!

MommaGeorgia :flowerforyou:
Alanakerr01 :flowerforyou:

Let's have an amazing week! Come on everyone join in!

Let's get motivated! (I am talking to myself as well). We have goals everyone and this weight isn't going to lose itself. Welcome to all of the new people! It is a new week so let's start a new challenge. Activity on the board is starting to pick back up! Don't forget to check out the "new to the workout" section.

This week the goal is to get in 18 miles of cardio! You can walk/jog/run (if you bike just count minutes like the classes) If 18 miles is too much and you are just starting out try for 9 miles. Those of you who love your classes (zumba etc. or don't have a way to track miles) let's shoot for 300 minutes of exercise! If you are just starting out try for 150 minutes.

New to the workout: Plank Variations try as many plank variations as you can (25 each holding for 10 seconds) See examples at:

*** Bonus!! Stay in the green for your food log 6 days this week and earn a bonus flower on the leader board!***

*** if you finished the goals but didn't check back in time -- remember that I collect data on Sunday night turn in your results to be included on the leader board ***

*** I am NOT a doctor consult a physician for clearance if you need to do so! ****

I'm in for another week :)
  • I'd like to try this with y'all!
  • I would like to try this as well. I could not find the new workout section though. If someone could send me a link to that area, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, If someone can tell me when the weigh in date is, and where we put it please.

    Thanks,
    Gina

Gina---I do not know where the new to the workout section is----I do my tried and true dvd's and games----this week it is the 30 day shred. I try to do the number of minutes in the challenge.

As far as your weigh in, you pick the day. You enter your weight every week in the weight tracking section on your home page.
I weigh on Wednesdays ---not sure why I picked that day----seems like a lot of folks do Saturdays.

    welcome to the challenge!

this sounds really amazing. I'm new and I'm game!
  • I think I have everything figured out thank you. I exercise using minutes because even though I do walk. I also work out a lot to wii so its just easier to use the minutes instead of the actual miles. I have watched the plank variations. I haven't started yet. Cause right now I am in the middle of sorting out a space specifically for my workout area.

My weigh in is tonight at my TOPS meeting. I am a little nervous but excited just as well. I will let you all know how it goes tonight or tomorrow.

    Best Wishes,
    Gina
  • Hope everyone has had a good week. I lost 4.8 pounds.I round up to the nearest pound on my tracker. However, Since we are all in competition. I wanted to be accurate with how much I actually lost instead of rounded it off to five pounds.
