Ok, so I have lost much of my time because of my job, and can't always make it to the gym...however, I teach highschool and they have a weightroom. It is all free weights. So I need a replacement for seated row. Any suggestions? Today I did a slightly tilted row. (I'd say bent over, but I was at a 45 degree angle.) I didn't quite get the effect I was looking for. Any suggestions?

While I'm waiting for the flooring for my home gym to arrive, I'm stuck with free weights. So I'm using a heavy duty resistance band with a door anchor. Lock it low into the door, sit on the floor with my legs outstretched and row my heart out. It works!

bent over row, but you have to bend yourself at 90 degrees at the hip and bring the barbell into your lower abs or as sarah said a resistance band set up the same as the cable in the book.

when you do the bent over row you have to make sure you push your hips back and put your lower back in extension and not round your upper back
