how to get started or plan for next year

I think we should try and support each other on the goal of RUNNING part if not all of the Dirty Girl 5K. I think we should try and develop a spreadsheet or a way to track progress.
I would have to say I am at a beginners level of exercise so the first month I want to work out at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes of cardio.
weeks 4-5 add in some strength training such as free weights and increase number of days exercising to 4 times per week
any ideas?

That sounds good - at least we will be held accountable for our actions
I started the C25K training and just finished week 1 of it this week. I work out (or plan to) Mon-Sat by doing an hour of cardio on the treadmill and strength training in between by doing bicep curls, sit-ups and push-ups for now. I guess what we can do is share our progress with each other. I'm for it -- anything to help be on track, motivated and successful0
