THAT'S ONE UGLY BABY!

So what do you guys do when you see someone's homely baby?
Today this chick I work with brought her newborn in to show it off to people, and she was NOT a cute baby! I was reminded of the Seinfeld ‘breathtaking’ baby episode (“you gotta see the baby”)….
Just another reason not to have a kid....what if you did and it looked like an alien?

My family has "good baby" genes. Even my fiance's family! All of us were adorable as babies, but I just don't see the appeal.
I had a *squee* moment when I met my cousin's newborn. I have never held a baby that small and was just in awe of how her entire hand could squeeze my thumbnail. She was cool, too (meaning she was chill, not actually interesting). I told her that I'm the cool one in the family who likes kids, and to watch out for my nephew and niece (the two goobers in my profile pic).
When I got in the car after the visit, mom gave me the ol' side eye glare (like when spongebob catches squidward eating krabby patties) and asked if that changed my mind. I laughed and started punching my abdomen.
She's cool. She's got her grandkids from my sister0 -
hahaha...my nephew was seriously the cutest baby ever...(he's 19 now and NOT so cute), but my two nieces were a little funny looking :ohwell:
I don't mind the really small ones that much..especially when they're so new they don't know how to scream yet (screaming babies make my ovaries recoil  ).
This one today was just very unfortunate looking! Hopefully it will be cuter when its older...0 -
Lol. One of my coworkers just had a baby and she brought him in one day. He is not a cute baby. Everyone was oooh-ing and ahh-ing over him. I just avoid her whenever she brings him in.
My niece and nephew, however were very cute babies. My brother in law and his wife make cute kids.0 -
oh, my poor neice, she was NOT an attractive baby. at ALL. and my SIL kept trying to put her in cute stuff but... there was like NO help. took until she was about 2 until she was cute. now she's beautiful. i just told my mom (b/c no WAY am i telling my bro or SIL) that it's a good thing she got the awkward/ugly phase done early on.0

Ughghhhhh, so many ugly babies out there. DX
I think people are always waiting for me to compliment their ugly babies, but I can't pull myself together and lie like that. So I just don't remark on the kid's looks at all. Ooops;;0 -
"If we were wild animals and you were my young, I'd eat you" runs through my head for most of the pics in my facebook feed.
I think the cutest kids are around Kindergarten age, but that's when they get smart and all troublesome lol0 -

I thought all newborns were ugly? It takes a few weeks for the ugliness to wear off. Then the personality starts making them cute.0
