86 Year Old Skater Yvonne Dowlen

I was lucky enough to meet her while volunteering and see her skate during ISI Worlds in Dallas this year. She is so inspiring! I started skating as an adult about 6 years ago at age 39... my goal is to learn all the singles up to Axel. So far the salchow is my highest level jump and my favorite.

    Awesome. I help out an 80 year old man with this dances often. Many ladies in the group lesson I do are in their 70s so inspiring.

    I've seen this ladies videos a few times. I love it!! I skate on an adult session, our oldest skater is 84 or 85 (I can never seem to remember). He doesn't jump anymore but he's out there skating the Kilian at tempo! Huge inspiration :)
