Cytomel

Anyone on cytomel? I'm waiting for a call back from my doc, but I read that if you have a change in your period that you should call. I started taking it in July, and in late August I started having 2 week cycles...no joke. Could the two be related? I've been to women's health and they said it's most likely due to my hypothyroidism even though it's not a symptom I've ever had before.
Just curious to see if anyone else is on it and what your side effects were....

I am on it; I am pretty consistent in my cycles. I've also got adrenal issues, so that is why I take this, and that I also had a reverse T3 problem. I've really had no side effects from it. Others than cytomel is very potent. And I also have to dose 3 times a day.0

I'm not taking a big dose at all. 10mcg, only 25mcg synthroid. This board has already opened my eyes so much. I don't really get a whole lot of answers having a military doc...I should be thankful I get treated at all!0

I was also thinking of taking it at lunch instead of at night with my synthroid...to help me shake that afternoon slump that is coming back.0

I take it in A.M. with my synthroid and then again at about 1P.M. This gives me energy for the day. I don't sleep away the afternoon. Taking it at night is probably not a great time as you need the energy for the day time. I have no Idea about the change in menses, it's hard to know and you probably should consult with the m.d.0

I have been taking Cytomel for a few years and have never really noticed a change in my period from the Cytomel. I am on 25mcg Cytomel that I take in the morning and I take 200mcg of Synthroid at night before bed.0
