I am a 43Y F weight 232lb,s Height 68in, BF 41.7%
BMR 1695
TDDE for mod activity 2762. I lift 3x a week with 30min walk (1.6miles) and 3x a week 60min walk (3.2 miles). I am not lifting heavy yet but working toward it. I can bench 2 20lb dumbells which is heavy for me.
My fitbit says my calories burn for an average of 2400-2800 last week.

So a 20% cut would be 2043 and 30% cut would be 1933. So I need to eat between 1900-2100 calories a day. Does that look right. It still seems high to me but I guess that is where eat more comes in.

You should go with your fitbit's average TDEE and cut from there. And definitely do not cut more than 20%.

Sounds about right. But I think you should start out with a smaller cut. Try 15% first. EM2WL usually recommends to cut between 10 and 15%.
    And keep up the lifting

I am adding calories to get to that number. I have been eating 17-1800/day. Its will be a big jump to go up to 2000+ a day. I am trying to convice myself this is what I should do. I am afraid if I loosen up my eating it will all go to H*ll. Does that make sense?
