Hi everyone! I'm new to the group and started running in July of this year. I ran my first 5K in September. It was the Color Me Rad 5K where you get colored cornstarch thrown at you throughout the race. It was a blast. I am running my second 5K on December 1st, the Jingle Bell race for Arthritis. Everyone dresses up Christmasy! Should be fun. I am hoping to continue my running career and run a half marathon someday. Not sure about a full marathon though! What races has everyone ran? How many? Any fun ones?
Thanks guys!

Welcome! Congrats on your first 5k, Color Me Rad sounds like a great first race experience!
I started and finished C25k in May, since then I've run three 5ks, a 5 mile, a 10k, a warrior dash and two sprint triathlons. But I am kind of crazy.
A half marathon is a great goal. Marathons are uh, suited for a relatively small subset of runners I don't think I will ever run one myself. I get too bored after even 10k. But work up to the half and see how it goes? Maybe you will fall in love with distance running, and training for the full marathon will be something you actually enjoy.0 -
