Do you guys use your HRM's to record cals burned or do you feel is too high and just enter it as strength training???

Before I got my heart rate monitor, I used Circuit training, which actually is pretty close to my HRM readings.0

Thanks! I have a HRM I just wasn't sure if the program will be more strength lifting type or more of a cardio type of workout. If it is strength I was told not use the HRM but if it is more cardio based then HRM would be the way for me to log it.0

I've been using the info from my HRM. I don't think it overestimates, based on the info I get from it when I've used it for just cardio. I usually burn anywhere between 250-300 calories for the 30 minute DVD.0
