I found this site accidentally and really enjoyed his articles on HypoT. Many of them made me do the mental forehead slap thing where I though to myself "Oh my goodness, that makes so much sense". Thought some of you might enjoy reading as well.

Chris Kresser is my hero. I'm currently following the Paleo Autoimmune Protocol that he is behind.

How is that working for you? I limit my carbs very much but have yet to commit to going gluten free. Although after reading the articles on his website, I am thinking that I really need to!

It's going very well for me. I'm two weeks into the first 30 days before reintroduction of the questionable foods (dairy, eggs, nuts, seeds, seed spices, and nightshades). I started with Paleo/Primal about 10 months ago, and it's the best thing I've ever done for my health. The fogginess, joint pain in my ankles went away within a week, along with the gas, bloating and other indigestion symptoms. I also dropped 42 lbs since January with only a few sessions of cardio a week plus walking. My medication has dropped twice since I've lost the weight and I'm pretty sure it'll need to drop again soon as I'm starting to have hyper symptoms. I've never been a dieter, but it made such a difference in how I felt that I have been following it since.

It's very much worth a shot, even if only for a month to see how you feel. Another author that addresses the autoimmune protocol is Diane Sanfilippo with her book Practical Paleo as she uncovers how to do it, step by step, day by day to figure out which foods can cause issues. So far, it's only grains that cause issues for me but according to Chris Kresser, grains are the main trigger for Hashi's and other autoimmune diseases, since they are inflammatory( and the most likely to be GMO). I can turn you on to other resources if you need help moving that direction.
