Im looking for some advice.
I am usually a calm person. I do have my ocd/add moments. But in the last couple of months I noticed that when its that time of the month I get a bad case of CRAZY! The slightest thing sets me off. I scream, stomp around, act like a crazy person and then I end up crying. I also feel slightly depresed. The rest of the month Im fine.

I had my hormones tested a couple months ago and they were normal. My thyriod level was good with meds. I have no idea where this problem has come from.

Any advice, tips, recomendations? I don't want to be like this.

Thanks!

    Hi,
Sorry you're feeling so bad. :frown: Sounds like hormones, but I guess it could be anything. Do you take vitamins?
  • I get the same way!! My husband said I'm unbearable to be around. I'd like to hear some tips too! Lol

I just started taking the B complex vitamin.

I have never been this way. It freaked me out. I didn't want to be around myself! LOL! This is odd behavior for me and it was like I had no control!

I think Im going to have to call my obgyn and see what she says. SHe has watched me carefully for years and she is a good doc that listens. Im wondering if it is from hormone levels changing rapidly?

I will let you guys know if I get any information!

Are you on BC? If so, it could be a side effect of that. When I was on the Depo Shot (1 injection every 3 months) I had a similar problem. I couldn't stop crying! I don't recall if I started out just at TOM, but in the end it was almost daily.

    Hope you find a solution!!!

I am on BC. Been on this one for a little over a year. THis just started last month. It last about 2 days. Its frustrating becuase I usually have to change pills almost every year because my body rejects them after abut 9 or 10 months. But this pill seemed like a great one for me. I actually had normal cycles and my endometriosis symtoms were almost gone. UGG I feel like my life belongs in a medical book. And I feel like everything I do for one problem is bad for another and so on.

I agree that it's probably the birth control pills. When I was on them, some brands turned me into a monster, and other brands made PMS almost non-existent.

You should talk to your doctor about alternatives if you've already tried a few different kinds of pills. I do feel better overall since I stopped taking them. I now have the Paraguard IUD in case you were wondering. :)

I will be calling. I think it may be time to change again. I will research the IUD. Preventing growth of the endometriosis is my big concern. I have no children and want to have a child in the next few years.

I see. I don't know a darn thing about endometriosis, but hopefully your doc will have some good answers for you. There are a lot of options out there today.

I'm not on BC and today... well I should have been in a straight jacket, lol! Just went nutters lol. It only lasted a few hours. I did add DHEA into my system starting last week (apparently my testosterone levels were non-existent). Combine that with PMS and trying to balance a budget... perfect storm!
